Threaded Memories the exhibition presents work from the Senior Quilting Project William Rhodes created and collaborated with Seniors from the Bayview and Fillmore Districts of San Francisco. He is also presenting portraits of his family, Wood and Neon Assemblage pieces. This exhibition is thought breathtakingly beautiful
Through the power of politics activism, Jazz and Hip-Hop, Americans help shape San Francisco. Because of the continued decline of the San Francisco black population, this project has becomes a race against time. Everyday more history is being lost. This body of work serves as a way to record that history.
