April 18th 7pm. Hall of Culture

Hear from the women defining and creating the equity lens in an industry now (seemingly) dominated by white men. From creating revolutionary self-healing practices to informing and designing policy in the Bay Area – and beyond, these pioneers have been courageously on the front line of the cannabis movement.

They will share their journey, what we need to know now, and what actions we can take to realize a true shift from the war on drugs campaign. This is a unique and revolutionary moment in time to both understand the complexities of a plant (and a people) that has been demonized and the countless possibilities of both recourse and abundance in health and wealth.

This discussion is part of the Smoke & Mirrors: War on Drugs Exhibition
